From Scared Puppers to Superstar model!

We always put your pooch first. No matter what. And we completely understand how coming to the studio, with new people, and having your picture taken with a flash can be pretty scary for some dogs. That’s how it was for Cash, a rescue retriever mix, his first time at the studio. He was very nervous and wouldn’t come anywhere near the camera. Since we never want to stress out a dog, we ended up calling the session and deciding maybe to try later.

After some time getting more comfortable with the world, Cash decided to give the studio a second shot. We planned for this to be a test run, but Cash did so well it actually turned into a zoomies session for the boy! We started off very relaxed, low pressure, and used lots of treats. We took things slow, getting used to the flash and then adding in the camera, and he did so well. He even asked for belly rubs. We kept the session short and fun to make sure it remained a positive experience. We had a few quick “costume” changes and we were left with a great collection of photos for his mom and fun had by all!

We treat each dog as an individual at our studio and try whatever method works best to make them the most comfortable and set up to succeed!
